Hello all
Asked for a quick overview so here it goes :)
I am 35 years old from Greystones. My family consists of mum, my sister Ciara and brother William who is also in the media sector and is a sports presenter for Virgin Media. I am married just three months to Darren who is a teacher and we have been together four years - meeting on the infamous POF.(Yes, one actual success story lol)
I have a degree in Theology and English Literature from All Hallows College, Dublin. Originally I was going to pursue a profession in teaching but after working in Australia for two years (spending 3 months in the outback), I decided to come home and complete a Masters in Journalism and Communications at Griffith College, Dublin.
I have worked in the media industry for over ten years both at home and abroad. In Australia I was a writer and editor for St. Kilda News Paper where I wrote different articles from crime, music and theatre.
From 2014 to 2021 I worked with Virgin Media formally TV3, as Assistant Producer on News, Producer of the Elaine Show and researcher for Ireland Am. During my time here I learned to edit, produce, shoot and direct as well as getting exclusive interviews for the show.
Also during this period I was a newsreader for 98fm and Spin 1038
I have a passion for traveling and any chance I can get I try to head off to a new location. History, Music and GAA are two big passions of mine - and I never miss Dubs Match.
Regarding music I have quite a broad taste from dance djs such as Tiesto and Armin Van Burren to rock music such as Green Day, R.E.M and Placebo.
And last but not least I am a crazy horror fan - most of you probably know that by now. I part-take in PRI- Paranormal Researchers Ireland investigating derelict places, old buildings etc- anything for a scare really.
So anything horror I'm your gal.
