Colm Flynn and his partner Paola have said I Do during a dreamy winter wedding in Co Clare but just who is the Irish reporter?
The presenter was one of the well-known faces who slotted into the hot seat next to Dáithí Ó Sé earlier this year to help cover the Today show while Sinéad Kennedy was on maternity leave.
Ennis man Colm lives in Rome when not working back at home and for those less familiar with him, here's a little sneak peek behind the scenes.

Career
Colm started working with Clare FM when he was just 17 and then went into RTÈ Radio for around six years working on various radio shows. He then packed his bags and moved to New York City where he reported for the BBC World Service and other networks.
Chatting to EVOKE, he said: 'It was so fascinating because I got to travel all over the US and meet people who had incredible stories to tell. It was also a fascinating time politically and socially in the country.
'As well as doing that I was doing freelance work for a US network called EWTN. They cover Catholic issues and stories of faith.'
It was here that Colm was asked to take up the position in Rome covering the Vatican and travelling with Pope Francis around the world. He has been doing that for three years now and loves it.
Finding love

Colm found love with his partner Paola, who also works in journalism in Rome, almost three years ago and while they did connect online, it wasn't through your average dating website. Nope, it was Twitter!
He said: 'Paola followed me after seeing one of my reports and I followed her back! Then in true romantic style, I sent her a message and asked her to go for lunch.
'We had a beautiful lunch on a street next to the Vatican and as soon as it was over I asked her to meet again.'
While some may believe that working in the same profession as your partner can be dangerous, Colm feels the opposite.

He said: 'It makes such a difference when you both work in the same profession and understand what each other do. She's so supportive when it comes to my work which involves a lot of travel, and I try to support her in everything she does as well.'
Paola is a TV reporter covering the Vatican and Pope Francis. Her reports are broadcast on several networks like NBC Telemundo in the US.
Popping the question

Colm asked Paola to marry him in July 2024 in a romantic waterside proposal with the happy couple beaming smiles as they posed for a selfie after he popped the question.
'Thank you Paola for making me the luckiest guy in the world', Colm wrote in his announcement post. Vatican reporter Paola also took to X to joke: 'Some personal news as they say…
Working with Daithi and the Today gang
Colm was delighted to get the chance to work with the Today Show, which has been rotating presenters, in the summer of 2024.
'Working with Dáithí i is such a breeze. The guy is such a pro he could do it in his sleep. He gave me a hard time for being off chocolate for Lent - because the chief's special on Monday was a huge chocolate biscuit cake! He tempted me to take some but I stayed strong,' Colm said.
While he knew a lot of the team in front and behind the camera it was the connection that he had with Dáithí, that he loved the most.
He said: 'What I loved was some of the banter that Daithi and I were able to have with the crew off the air! The bits you don't see on the show! There's a lot of mischief behind the scenes. But I'll leave it at that!'
Saying I Do

Colm and Paola tied the knot just ahead of New Year's on December 30, 2024.
After exchanging vows in a church they celebrated with their nearest and dearest at the four-star Old Ground Hotel.
Sharing a snap from their big day, Colm said: 'Happiest day of my life. Thank you Paola for making me the luckiest man in the world.'
