She's known for hiding Easter Egg-like clues in her song lyrics, but Taylor Swift will not be keeping her wedding plans under wraps.

The singer who announced her engagement to Travis Kelce in August has just released her latest album, The Life of A Showgirl, and happily chatted to Graham Norton about her forthcoming nuptials.

Taylor opted for a classic black dress with a contemporary twist and her signature red lip as she joined the host on the couch alongside Cillian Murphy and Domhnall Gleeson.

Her dress was a velvet number in a mini dress length with a halterneck style neckline that is encrusted with rows of crystals.

It's by the Georgian designer David Koma and is still available on his website, where it's currently priced at €2,050 here.

When asked by Graham if she and Travis had a date in mind for their wedding, she revealed: 'You'll know.'

Taylor went on to explain: 'I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan.'

She also showed off her unusual engagement ring on the night. The ring, which is believed to have cost the NFL star between $700K (€596K) and $1m (€852K).

It is in a vintage style and reported to be between seven and ten carats of diamonds in a bezel setting that wraps around the centre stone, which is a rectangular, brilliant-cut stone.

While chatting to Graham, Taylor also revealed that her hubby-to-be has a favourite song from The Life of A Showgirl, and it's easy to see why.

His pick, which is also her father's favourite, is Opalite which she dedicated to the football star whose birthstone is an opal and is a metaphor for creating your own happiness in the wake of past heartbreak.

'Growing opals (opalite is the man-made version of natural opals) in a lab is an interesting metaphor for making your own happiness; to rise above the trials and tribulations and be happy you did things on your terms,' she explains.'
