Taylor Swift can finally sing the lyrics to her hit song Love Story with a whole new meaning as the pop star has gotten engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Travis Kelce.
In what looked like a fairytale proposal, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis, 'knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring' in a garden surrounded by pink flowers, while Taylor just said 'Yes'.
Taylor shared the news of their engagement with intimate pictures of the moment Travis got down on one knee, writing: 'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.'
Taylor and Travis, both 35, looked smitten in their engagement snaps, as Travis knelt with the ring box in hand while Taylor wore a striped midi dress and embraced her now fiancé after the proposal.
The singer included a picture of her huge diamond engagement ring, which is set in a gold band and appears to be custom-made.
Travis and Taylor's engagement comes just days after the couple made a joint appearance on the New Height's podcast as Taylor announced her new album The Life Of A Showgirl.
They appeared more loved up than ever in the two-hour interview, with Taylor speaking candidly about their relationship and how her love story with Travis is what she's always dreamed of.
She spoke about how Travis chasing her and intentionally shooting his shot in the summer of 2023 was ‘such a wild, romantic gesture, to just be like, "I wanna date you!"'
She went on to compare Travis to a John Hughes movie character, joking he was outside her window with a boombox shouting: 'I wanna date you! Do you wanna go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet. Do you wanna date me?'
Taylor added: 'I was like, if this guy isn't crazy — which is a big if — this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.'
Aww we couldn't be happier for Taylor and Travis! And if the Era's Tour is anything to go by, bring on the celebrity wedding of the century!
