Our favourite dating show, Married at First Sight UK, is set to return to our screens this winter to keep us entertained during the cold months. And as to be expected, the show will be steaming hot, with controversial scenes, budding romance and plenty of advice and opinions from other couples.
The social experiment will bring singletons together who have never met each other. The experts have carefully assessed each participant and linked them with the person they believe is perfect for them. They will then meet each other for the first time on their wedding day, and over ten weeks, the couple will find out if they are meant to be!
Our favourite love experts, Paul C. Brunson, Melanie Schilling and Charlene Douglas will, of course, be dishing out the tough questions and tasks for those who have said 'I do'. Airing on E4 at the end of the month (date and time to be decided), let's have a look at the brides and grooms that are hoping to meet 'the one.'

Anita

Hailing from Durham, the 54-year-old has a full house as she is the mother of two and grandmother to three grandkids. And as you can guess, the operations manager lives for her family and loves spending time with them.
In the past, she has suffered heartache after losing her mum, her job and the collapse of her 17-year relationship all in a matter of weeks - six to be exact.
She is dying for adventure and hopes that her future beau will be as exciting and wild as she is for exploring life.
Grace

Grace's sharp wit is her trademark - though she admits men are intimidated by her humour. Dating for the 31-year-old has been a disaster, and when it comes to being treated badly by men in the past, she has seen it all - a taxi man sent her a voice note to tell her her date no longer wanted to see her.
However, she is keeping her head up and ready to meet a tall, dark, handsome man.
Julia-Ruth

Born in South Africa and raised in New Zealand and the UK, Julia-Ruth overcame a tough childhood after being adopted by her sister at 16. Now thriving as a professional dancer, she’s ready for new challenges – especially in love.
Single for two years after rocky relationships, she hopes the experts can help her find a down-to-earth, ambitious, and empathetic partner.
Leah

Family-oriented and full of life, Leah loves sport, travel and a good laugh. A driven businesswoman, she’s proud of building her own success.
After realising at 25 that women gave her the butterflies men never did, Leah is now hoping the experts can match her with someone fun, spontaneous and family-minded.
Leigh

A self-proclaimed girly-girl who loves to get glam, Leigh also has a fiery side and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Single for a year after a broken engagement, she’s rebuilt her confidence and is now ready for lasting love.
She hopes the experts can match her with someone ambitious, positive, and strong enough to keep up with her, because for Leigh, dating apps are not an option as she can't stand the new modern way of finding 'the one'.
Maeve

When it comes to Maeve, boys and her parents, the 29-year-old was soon labelled a 'troublemaker,' clashing constantly over each other's views.
However, Maeve has turned her life around and is now a proud mum to son Archie.
Strong-willed and unwilling to settle, she’s ready for a mature relationship – and hopes the experts can help her lower her walls and find someone who matches her strength while allowing her to be vulnerable.
Neelima (Nelly)

Confident, outspoken, and fiercely loyal, Nelly has made her mark at one of Manchester’s top dental clinics.
For a year, she focused on herself and is now ready to find true love with someone strong, emotionally intelligent, and unshaken by a woman who knows her worth.
You go, girl!
Rebecca

Independent and strong-willed, Rebecca built her own aesthetics business and lives life on her terms with her 3-year-old Cockapoo, Dotty.
Single for over a year after a broken engagement and a whirlwind romance, she’s fiery, confident, and looking for a man who can take the lead while letting her be herself.
Rebecca hopes the experts can help her find someone to build a real future with.
Sarah

Convinced all the eligible bachelors in her hometown are already taken, Sarah is ready to find “the one.”
Since her mum passed, the recruitment consultant is now determined to make her proud and settle down. Single for two years, her dad is eager to see her walk down the aisle—if the experts can help her find the perfect match.
Paul

He may be the oldest of the MAFS grooms, but 60-year-old Paul is still full of energy and has a ‘youthful approach to life’.
The retired father of three from Edinburgh has spent years being single, following his divorce in 2011, and now he’s seeking a kindred spirit to share love, laughter, and his hobbies with.
Steven

Cheeky Essex groom Steven is a cut above the rest, at least when it comes to height!
The 34-year-old investment banker is used to standing out in a crowd for his height as well as his sense of humour, and his many talents: writing, acting, and football.
He's a dad to two kids and has been single for a year, and is ready to find a confident, bubbly partner who will keep him on his toes.
Keye

Groom Keye from London is a marketing manager, hoping the experts match him with the man of his dreams.
He was previously married but is now on a journey of personal self-discovery and has not had another serious relationship since his marriage ended in 2018. He is ready to meet a confident, caring man who knows how to look after the two of them.
Ashley

Father-of-one Ashley, 35, from Bridgend, describes himself as an ‘old school gent’.
He works as an operations director for a marine construction company and is quite the globe trotter as well as having a huge love of the outdoors, counting rugby, surfing, camping and walking as his hobbies.
However, he is finally bored of doing it all on his own and is hoping to meet his forever partner… as long as she has blonde hair, bright eyes and nice teeth, loves the gym, the pub and the outdoors. Phew!
Davide

Davide, a 33-year-old cabin crew member, originally from Portugal but raised in Paris, is a true romantic who was recently left heartbroken after his engagement came to an end.
However, he is full of hope that he will find his future husband on MAFS and is looking for a kind-hearted, handsome, and romantic partner who shares his passion for cats!
Bailey

Bailey is a 36-year-old sales manager from St Albans, now living in Brighton, who is also a is a devoted dad and entrepreneur who set up his own microbrewery.
He's been single for a year and is looking for someone kind and family-oriented who can match his energy and be a positive role model for his young daughter.
Divarni

Divarni is a musician and dad-of-one, from London with passions for poetry and Marvel movies - and is a self-confessed 'ladies’ man' known for his smooth chat.
Single for two years, he's searching for a partner with a bright smile, kind eyes, and a spark of creativity and ambition who he hopes to meet at the altar.
Joe

Joe, a personal trainer from Huddersfield, has swapped his partying days for a more grounded outlook after years of travelling and dating all over the world.
At 31, he's finally ready to settle down and is looking for a fun-loving partner in crime to share adventures with and build a true connection - something he has been unable to do in the past.
Dean

Hopeless romantic, Dean, once flew to Venice for a first date and dreams of the kind of love his parents share.
The 31-year-old team-building host from Feltham (who lists stand-up comedian and magician on his CV) is outgoing, funny, and full of positivity and says he's ready to meet a soulmate who'll match his humour and zest for life. We hope he'll find his perfect match on MAFS!
