The sun was out in full force, and so were horse racing lovers as they attended this year's launch of the Irish Champions Festival in Dublin.
Vogue Williams and her husband Spencer Matthews, keen attendants at several racing events, joined Hector Ó hEochagáin on stage to chat about the upcoming event, and as you can guess, Hector tried his best to teach Spencer a few words ás Gaeilge.
The Irish Champions Festival is the showcase of the Irish Flat racing season, featuring some of the best jockeys, trainers and horses from around the world.

Taking place on September 13 in Leopardstown and The Curragh on September 14, the event promises to be a memorable day out for race goers.
Speaking about the sport, Vogue touched on her own experience of taking on the challenge of becoming a jockey in 2019, riding at Goodwood.
She highlighted the pressure, both physically and mentally, that is put on the rider- something she now understands and admires.

The name Aidan O' Brien is certainly one that echoes in the halls of those who are involved in the intense race. One of the world's most best trainers, Aidan, attended with his wife, champion horse trainer Anne-Marie O'Brien (née Crowley).
It was at her father's yard that her husband began on his road to fame. Since then, Anne-Marie O'Brien has been the CEO at Equimetrics, a technology that monitors a horse's well-being.
Speaking to the crowd, he highlighted how the Irish Champions Festival has made a huge impact in the world.
'The Irish Champions Festival has changed the whole Irish racing. It has put it on a worldwide level and everybody waits for it...it's the perfect time of the calendar for everybody all over the world.'

Celebrating its 12th year, the day features 17 exhilarating races, including six Group One races within the two-day programme.
