It was back to Croke Park last weekend, but this time it was for the Ladies' football All-Ireland final, and for Dublin fans, it may be the last time Hannah Tyrrell will play for the girls in blue.

The Dubs defeated Meath 2- 16 to 0-10 to lift the Brendan Martin Cup for the seventh time.

With nearly 50 thousand attending, nerves were high for both teams and their fans, especially for Hannah's wife, Sorcha and daughter, Aoife, who were in the stands cheering her on.

Before the match, Sorcha and Aoife were both jersey-ready, with flags in hand in the Hogan stand, waiting for mum Hannah to come out with the team.

It was thanks to LGFA that the married couple met when Sorcha and Hannah met at training more than ten years ago.

The couple tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their daughter Aoife in 2023. Promising that this year would be her last with the Dubs, winning this season is extra special for the whole family.

Posting a few pictures after the match, Sorcha, Hannah and Aoife posed for a picture with the Brendan Martin Cup, with Sorcha stating 'Could not be PROUDER,' followed by a love heart emoji.

Laughing, they wrote on the picture how Aoife was very excited to see her pal Brendan again.'

Aoife was just a few weeks old the last time the girls won the Championship and captured the hearts of a nation with this shot of Hannah introducing her to the cup on the field.

Over the last few years, Aoife looks like she is just as mad about the sport as her mums, and two skilled parents as mentors, we may just see her on the Dublin team in years to come.
