Roddy Doyle's The Snapper is an all-time classic movie that will be popular for generations to come, and no matter where Tina Kellegher goes, someone will call her Sharon.
The story of Sharon Curley, her baby and the mystery daddy will long live in the hearts of the Irish public, and 31 years later, no matter what age you are, you will know a good few lines off by heart!
Tina has since starred in several productions over the years, such as BallyKissangel, Showbands and In the Name of the Father, but this year will see the actress return to Fair City's Carrigstown as the sharp and cold Ger Lynch.

After being away from the soap for three years, Tina sat down with the RTÉ Guide to chat about how she chose her career and that there were two options on the table for her: acting or a career with the law.
Yes, if the star hadn't gone down the route of acting, she said she was interested in joining the Gardaí. Laughing, she said, 'I'd have been horrendously bad as a guard...I'd be too much of a coward to be a guard on the beat - that's a tough job.'
Dipping her toe into acting from a young age, she soon fell in love with it and knew that this was for her.

In the early nineties, Tina would take on the role of Sharon Curley in The Snapper, which would get the country talking and make her a household name.
This role got the Cavan actress used to being recognised on the street and says, 'There are still people who say to me 'I loved you as Sharon' and it is thanks to this character that she says helps her form the tough exterior that is Ger Lynch in Fair City.
For the last few years, Tina has enjoyed time off, raising her two boys, Michael and Brian, but has since made the decision to return to her career.
Earlier this year, she lost her mum, but says that working as an actor helps her through grief and helps her fight the tough times
