For Bruce Willis' children, each moment spent with their dad is precious and this month as he celebrated his 70th birthday, the family gathered around him to enjoy quality time together
In February 2023, Bruce Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a condition that presents itself with communication and behavioural changes.
The family, including his ex-wife Demi Moore and his current wife Emma Heming, has been open and honest about the star's condition and how it has affected Bruce and the family.
However, this week was not going to be one of sadness. Instead, the family gathered around their dad, dancing, hugging and laughing.
Giving the outside world a glimpse of the special day, Demi, Bruce's ex-wife and mum to their three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah posted a few pictures on her social media.
The actors showed their fun side and despite the heartbreaking diagnosis, Bruce is still able to enjoy some fun time with his family.
Demi posted a video of the pair of them trying to dance in time together, Bruce leading the way, while their children broke down in fits of laughter at the two of them.
Other photos show Demi, Bruce and Tallulah outside together and messing around as they take photos while another sees Bruce and Emma in a tender moment.
Fans were delighted to see the new pics, with many praising Demi and Bruce for having such a close bond despite their marriage being over.
'Your family. Your bond. Your love & care for each other. Makes my heart sing. Happy 70th Birthday, Bruce,' wrote one person.
Someone else added: 'I love the kindness of her wife,she let the ex wife take part in Bruce life and they’re all embracing his health journey as strong ladies and a beautiful family bonded with true love.'
Rumer wished her dad best wishes stating 'To the Kings... I love you Daddio...Happy 70th Birthday papa.'
Tallulah curled up on her dad's lap for a cuddle in another snap, showing those at home that it doesn't matter how old you are, you are never too old for a hug from your dad.
Holding his hand while Bruce was getting some medical attention, Scout lay with her dad, demonstrating the strong connection they have, a true close bond between dad and daughter that can never be broken.
Scout said 'Happy birthday to the Greatest of all time...Every day I thank the Gods that 50% of my DNA is from him. The music I make, the magic I create, and the magnetic mischief I incite, that's my father's legacy alive in the world.'
Demi wrote across from the pictures: 'Happy birthday BW! We love you,' followed by a love heart emoji.
