Beyoncé and Jay-Z put on a united front at the premiere of their daughter Blue Ivy’s movie Mufasa on Monday.
Blue Ivy, 12, stars as Kiara in the eagerly anticipated prequel to Disney’s The Lion King, while her mum voices Nala.
The mother and daughter duo looked fabulous, coordinating in shimmering gold gowns while Jay-Z wore a brown suit with a black tie.

For some, it was a huge surprise to see Jay-Z join his family on the red carpet. The rapper has recently become embroiled in the scandal surrounding fellow star Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sensational court case.
Just recently, a civil case has been launched against Jay, accusing him of sexual assault of a 13-year-old at a party in 2000- a charge he has strenuously denied.
The civil suit was originally filed against Sean Combs but was amended to include Jay as a co-defendant, making him the first celebrity to be linked to the Diddy case.

In a statement to CNN, Jay said the allegations were ‘so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?’
The dad-of-three, who also shares seven-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with Beyoncé, said that the accusations are his family’s ‘only heartbreak’ and he is going to have to have some difficult conversations with his kids.
‘My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.’ he said.
‘I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age.’

Posting after the premiere on Monday, Beyoncé said she could not be prouder of her eldest daughter, who has often appeared by her side at events or worked on projects with her mum.
She wrote on social media: ‘My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.’

The film’s director Barry Jenkins said he offered her the role of Kiara after hearing her narrate the kid’s book Hair Love by Matthew Cherry.
Blue Ivy is expected to travel to London for the European premiere of Mufasa on December 11 ahead of the movie’s global release on December 20.
