Tanya's partner pops the question in emotional Operation Transformation finale

The finale of Operation Transformation had viewers in tears when leader Tanya's partner popped the question.

She was showing off her incredible weight loss in a red jumpsuit on the catwalk when Mark got down on one knee.

Tanya lives with Mark and their children, 15-year-old Abbie, 10-year-old Rían, five-year-old Mark and one-year-old Oran.

The couple was in tears as he asked her to be his wife to which she tearily accepted, and viewers at home couldn't get enough of the emotional moment.

Tanya was all smiles as she showed off her 1st 8lbs, she started at 14st 11lbs before her eight-week life overhaul let her drop down to 13st 3lbs.

But the happiest moment of all came when Mark asked her to be his wife. It was definitely the cherry on the cake after her eight-week long journey.

Tanya was joined by her fellow Operation Transformation leaders, Shane, Lorraine, Andrea and Barry.

It was Barry who made the most progress as he lost a whopping 3st 7lbs. He was the heaviest leader that the show had ever had, with his starting weight being 29st 4lbs. He finished the show at 25st 11lbs.

Shane's starting weight was 20st 7lbs but over the course of the show, he lost an incredible 2st 13lbs, with his finishing weight being 17st 8lbs.

Andrea couldn’t have been prouder of herself as she walked the catwalk after her 2st 5lbs weight loss, going from 21st 2lbs to 18st 11lbs.

While Lorraine came out to showcase her 11lbs dropping to 11st 8lbs from 12st 5lbs.
