Lisa McHugh has shared a hopeful life update after suffering an extremely tough eleven weeks. The country singer was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, which caused her temporary loss of function in her legs.
Despite the ordeal, Lisa is remaining positive. She shared a heartwarming clip of herself playing in the garden with her husband, Nathan Khan, and their kids, Milo and Hallie.
The mum-of-two provided fans with an update on her illness, writing: '11 weeks ago today everything changed.'

Lisa confessed that her routine has changed drastically since finding out about the disorder, and things definitely haven't been easy for the Scottish-Irish singer.
'Life since then has been very different, full of uncertainty, and in 11 weeks we’ve also faced many hurdles,' she wrote beneath the snap.
However, Lisa is keeping her spirits up, adding that the ordeal has made her 'even more grateful for these moments with my little team.' She kept the positivity going by using the hashtags 'recovery is possible' and 'healing journey.'
People were quick to praise Lisa, with many dubbing her 'an inspiration' and 'a strong lady.' One person wrote: 'Well done Lisa, you have come a long way through this battle. We are all so proud of you.'

'Good to see you getting out, Lisa. I hope your health is improving every day that passes. All the best to you all. Take care,' another said.
The star revealed that she was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder in July, saying that she has had multiple CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, blood tests, lumbar punctures, and every kind of test you could imagine carried out.

The disorder affects the way the brain and nervous system work, leading to a range of neurological symptoms such as limb weakness, paralysis, seizures, walking difficulties, spasms, sensory issues, and cognitive problems.
'I have just been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND),' she wrote, in a lengthy life update on social media. 'The specific cause for FND is unknown, but one of the main triggers is stress, trauma & anxiety,' Lisa wrote at the time.

'And while there is no cure, it is treatable, provided you adapt your life as much as possible to manage it,' she penned. 'I guess the stress and trauma of this last year and everything we’ve gone through has finally caught up with me and my body, and it’s now decided to make me physically stop, process, and heal from everything properly.'

'I’ve a good bit to go on the healing front, going from walking into the hospital with a very bad headache & severe facial pain, to losing function in both legs and then trying to walk again using a Zimmer frame.'
'It’s quite a lot to wrap your head around. So I need to drastically adapt things in my life right now and for the future to reduce the severity of the symptoms in any future flare-ups. But rest assured, I will be cared for like a queen every single day until I fully recover from this episode,' she wrote at the time.
