Until now, fashion fans have only been able to browse the latest styles on the Primark.com website or by trawling through the rails in-store, but the app is shaping up to be a game-changer.
According to the retailer, it will bring 'the full Penneys experience direct to your phone home screen.'
Some of the highlights of the app include the immersive browsing experience, which allows customers to easily scroll through the newest items and be inspired by the trend-savvy styling.
Another major function which Penneys has carried over from the website is the 'check availability' option that allows shoppers to search and see if their coveted items are available in their local store.
They can also choose to 'save' their picks for the next visit with the favourites feature.
There's also a store locator that allows you to hunt down your nearest Penneys, as well as providing directions and details of the opening hours.
Another plus is that customers can opt in for personalised notifications to stay in the know about the latest drops and collaborations.

With the release of the app, it's been revealed that while women's fashion was the most popular search category on Penney's website, it's actually homeware that's the 'rising star' with shoppers.
The Penneys app is available to download now by searching Primarl/Penneys in the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
