Born on July 8, 1993, David is a 32-year-old actor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Acting runs in his veins, as his dad worked as a stage actor in New York for many years before becoming a lawyer, a profession his mum also specialises in.
The 32-year-old graduated from the Shipley School and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania before transferring to the Juilliard School where he earned a BFA in Drama in 2016.
Career
David's first film role after graduating from Juilliard was as Michael Lawson in the 2018 political thriller Affairs of State.
He went on to appear in a number of guest-starring roles in the likes of House of Cards, Elementary, and Instinct.
The 32-year-old has appeared in some Netflix projects, including The Politician, Hollywood, and Look Both Ways.
In 2022, he co-starred as The Projectionist in Pearl, and two years later, starred in the 'musical time travel romance' The Greatest Hits.
It was in a November 2019 interview that David expressed interest in playing Superman on the big screen after sharing his appreciation for 2013's Man of Steel.
Low and behold, four years later, David was cast as Superman/Clark Kent in the 2025 James Gunn-helmed superhero film, taking the reins from Henry Cavill.
