Irish Stars channeled these A-list looks for the VIP Style Awards

The Peter Mark VIP Style Awards took place last night and the style was bigger, bolder and as diverse as ever. 

Bringing their A-game to the red carpet, Roz Purcell, Aoibhin Garrihy and Sile Seogie, didn't let Storm Hannah dampen their ensembles. 

The guests channeled some iconic looks that wouldn't look out of place on an international red carpet.

Tulle Dresses: Jennifer Lopez and Holly Carpenter

Both Holly and J-Lo got the go bold or go home memo. Quite literally owning the red carpet. 

When Jennifer wore her neon design to the Second Act premiere she had to travel in a private bus to fit the dress. 

While Holly had to take her own six-person taxi to fit her purple princess-vibe gown designed by Eamonn McGill.

Dress-over-trousers: Julia Roberts and Aoibhin Garrihy

Taking on the trouser trend on the red carpet at the VIPs was Aoibhin Garrihy in a design by Irish designer Caterina Coyne. 

Julia Roberts kicked off the dress-over-trousers style at the Golden Globes earlier this year.

We loved Aoibhin's twist on the trend with the puff sleeve one-shoulder and bow design.

Pink Feathers: Courtney Smith and Kendall Jenner

Short, pink and feathered, supermodel Kendall Jenner and stylist Courtney Smith both rocked the sweet dress design. 

Courtney opted for a sustainable faux feather dress by Omra. Keeping her footwear neutral a la Kendall in a strappy pair of sandals.

Dramatic Black Gowns: Angelina Jolie and Doireann Garrihy

Remember that iconic Angelina Jolie leg-slit dress that the actress wore to the Oscars in 2012? 

Well, Doireann was totally giving Angie a run for her money. She picked a plunging dress with dramatic thigh-silt by Irish designer Eamonn McGill.
