Lorraine Keane has always had an eye for gorgeous gowns, and the presenter has clearly passed the talent on to her daughter, Romy. The 19-year-old looked just like her mum as she got dolled up for her debs night.
She opted for a red gown for the affair, with a strapless sweetheart neckline, corset-style bodice, and elegant, puffed-out skirt. The cherry on top is that the dress is by an Irish designer who has made another very important gown for Romy in the past.
Dublin-based designer Deborah Veale created the number, and her dresses have long held a special place in Romy's life, as she made her Communion dress a decade ago.

Speaking to EVOKE, Lorraine explained: 'Romy asked our close family friend, Irish fashion designer Deborah Veale, to make her dress. Deborah also made her Communion dress 10 years ago, so it was extra special.'
Lorraine was quick to sing Deborah's praises, dubbing the designer 'her talented friend.' She shared a clip of Romy walking down the marble stairs at St Helens Radisson Blu hotel in Stillorgan.

The designer returned the compliment, sharing a clip of Romy in the dress alongside the caption: 'Such a pleasure to dress you for this special evening.'
While Romy was getting ready to head to her debs, that wasn't the only thing the family was celebrating that evening. The family also sang Happy Birthday as Romy blew out the candles on her cake, celebrating her 19th birthday.

'We had a lot to celebrate. Romy has had a very busy year and has worked so hard. It was her birthday, her debs, and she had just started college at Trinity studying law. We are so proud of her,' Lorraine gushed.
She explained the reason behind their choice to host the evening in a hotel, saying: 'Saint Helens Hotel is one of our favourite hotels. It was such a treat, before joking: 'AND I had no cleaning up afterwards. Even better.' Sounds like a dream to us!
