Netflix is no stranger to providing dramatic twists, but what happens in Unknown Number: The High School Catfish might just take the crown.
The documentary follows the unveiling of a catfish at a high school in a small town in Michigan after a teenage girl and her boyfriend were viciously cyberbullied for months.
Their ordeal began when the young couple, Lauryn and Owen, received an unsettling text message from a blocked number.

The pair were then relentlessly harassed with 'sick', anonymous text messages at all hours of the day, with their ordeal going on for months.
The trailer shows Lauryn and Owen telling their story in a way that starts to sound like a real-life episode of Gossip Girl, as people try and point the finger at who the culprit could be.

However, after authorities began digging into the case, their investigation uncovered a shocking secret that no one saw coming.
The doc dropped on Netflix at the end of August and fans were shook to discover who the catfish was.

'This high school catfish Netflix documentary is insane! When they showed who was cyber bullying and texting all them kids for over a year my face is like wtf,' wrote one person.
Someone else said: 'That documentary on Netflix, The Unknown Number: The Highschool Catfish..?! When I found out who it was, I never yelled that loud ever lol like what do you MEAAANNNN?!!!!'
'I’m sorry what on earth have I just watched?,' questioned a third, and honestly, what was that?!

It comes after the streaming service dropped the trailer for Cillian Murphy’s highly anticipated new flick, and fans are going wild.
Netflix released the trailer for ‘Steve,’ starring the Irish Oscar winner on Wednesday, and talk of it being the movie of the year has already commenced.
