Colin Farrell made a surprising appearance with his 15-year-old son, Henry, on the red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Irish actor, known for his role in HBO's The Penguin, was among the evening's nominees and turned heads with his dashing black-and-white velvet tuxedo.

Meanwhile, Henry, who he shares with former partner Alicja Bachleda-Curús and has one or two inches in height on him, opted for a sleek all-black ensemble, exuding understated elegance.

The pair's bond was evident as they posed for photos, with fans and media alike praising the sweet display of family pride.

Despite a powerhouse performance in the Penguin and a strong awards campaign, Colin Farrell fell short of clinching the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Limited Series.

The star faced stiff competition from Adolescence creator and star Stephen Graham, who ultimately took home the coveted trophy.

Adding to the sting, Farrell’s co-star Cristin Milioti celebrated a win earlier in the evening, making his loss even more surprising. While Farrell’s name and talent carried weight throughout the awards season, it seems the Adolescence juggernaut was simply unstoppable this year.
