Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson's youngest son Daniel has popped to question to his girlfriend of eight years, Natalie Ackerman,
The 29 year old got down on one knee on a romantic sailboat trip in New York City, and confirmed the engagement with People magazine. 'Yesterday I got to ask my best friend to join me on this journey called life', he said.
The young entrpenuer could be seen giving a heartfelt speech to Natalie, who was in shock and disbelief at the proposal. 'I could write novels on why I love Natalie, but there’s something deeper, something so cosmic about our relationship that I know we’re meant to be in this universe together.'
Daniel finished off his sweet confirmation to the magazine by saying he loves everything about Natalie, and how his life has changed for the better since meeting her. 'I see my mother in Nat, I see life in Nat, and reality just got a whole lot sweeter with a ring on it. Love wins!'.
Daniel and Natalie shared images of the two embracing during the proposal, with Natalie getting teary eyed at Daniels touching words Posting on their social media accounts, the happy couple shared the news, with an outpour of love from their friends and family. One person wrote, 'Congratulations to the most amazing couple🫶🫶🫶', while another said 'The two best people in the world, we’re all so lucky to be in your orbit🥹🤍💍'
American TV presenter Andy Bravo penned his congrats with some heart emojis, while another commented 'congrats my boy. sending big love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️'.
Once the pair had soaked up the emotions from the proposal, they headed on to the Dead Rabbitts Pub in New York, where they celebrated with their closest loved ones.
The party included decorations of photos of the couple and their relationship, as well as a special drinks menu that was inspired by the couple, including the Tulane Bombshell, a nod to where the couple met at university.
Reeling in the love they have received, Natalie posted an image of her stunning ring, with the couples dog in the background. The ring features a gold band with a large stone as the focal point.
The pair have been dating since 2017, and both graduated from Tulane University in 2019. Both have supported each other as they have gone on to work in their respective fields, with Natalie working as a brand communications manager, and Daniel as an entrepenuer, with his most recent business venture seeing him as the co founder of a drinks company, De Nada Tequila.
Although Natalie keeps her social media quite private, Daniel has always been in the limelight, most recently out supporting his dad at the premiere of his new film, The Naked Gun.
