Miriam O’Callaghan has been making the most of the summer with a sun-drenched getaway to Portugal alongside her husband and their blended family.
The RTÉ presenter shared a cheerful update on Instagram as the holiday came to an end, writing: ‘Summer holidays in Portugal over for now- lots of fab memories made. Here’s to next year.’
Miriam looked relaxed and radiant as she enjoyed time abroad with her husband Steve Carson, and most of her brood.

The couple share four sons, Conor, Jack, Daniel, and Steve, and Miriam is also mum to Jessica, Georgia, Allanah, and Clara, whom she shares with her first husband, Tom McGurk, whom she was married to from 1983 until 1995.
The family, who are famously tight-knit, appeared to have spent quality time together soaking up the sunshine, with Miriam’s followers quick to comment on how special it must be to gather everyone under one roof.

The mum-of-eight is known for juggling a busy career with family life, and fans loved seeing her take some well-deserved downtime.

Fellow presenter Lorraine Keane commented: 'The most beautiful family- inside & out,' whilst doctor and radio host Ciara Kelly gushed: 'What an amazing time u had!!!'
Miriam didn’t share too many details from the trip, but her message made it clear that the getaway was a chance to switch off and reconnect with her brood.

With her eldest in their 30s and her youngest still in college, getting so many of her eight children together with Steve is no small feat, making the trip all the more meaningful.
Now that the Carson-O'Callaghan blended clan are back on home soil, Miriam will no doubt be turning her attention back to her broadcasting duties, but judging by her post, Portugal will be calling her name again next summer!
