The girl who has taken Jonathan off the market... Who's that girl? It's Zooey! And two years after he popped the question, fans are wondering whether or not plans have been set.
One of the cutest couples in Hollywood, fans, friends and family were delighted when the pair shared their engagement news in 2023.
In August, Jonathan took a trip down memory lane, remembering the special day that Zooey said 'yes'.
Writing in the caption, with wedding emojis, Jonathan said: 'Oh, how time flies when you are in love. Aug 13th 2023...I put a ring on that finger. Guess we should figure this out ...love you.'
It was the ultimate tease for fans, questioning whether or not we will see the big day soon. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, let's take a look at how the couple got together.
How They Met:
Zooey and Jonathan met for the first time while filming the same episode of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke in 2019.
In the episode, the pair were joined by Jonathan's brother and the second Property brother, Drew, and Zooey's sister and Bones star, Emily. According to a source, the two hit it off right away and they 'had a really fun day.'
Zooey was married to producer Jacob Pechenik at the time but soon after she met the Property Brother, she announced that she and Jacob were separated.
A friend of the then-couple told PEOPLE that they had been separated for several months before the announcement.
Zooey was pictured holding hands with Jonathan a week before the news surfaced. According to a source who verified the dating rumours to PEOPLE, 'It's new, but they are having a lot of fun together.'
Making their romance official to the world:
Zooey and Jonathan confirmed their relationship when Zooey shared a snap on Instagram of them with Jonathan's brother Drew, and his wife Linda Phan at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights.
Zooey joined the Property Brothers star at his elder brother J.D.'s Halloween-themed wedding shortly after their Instagram debut.
The two dressed up as Batman and Catwoman, with Zooey captioning images of their outfits, 'It's the first time I've ever been Catwoman escorted to a fancy dress party wedding by Batman.'
In the same year, the pair also walked the red carpet when they made their debut as a couple at the Critic's Choice Documentary Awards.
During the date night, Scott told PEOPLE that the gathering recognised one of their shared interests. 'Yes, it is our first red carpet together because she is also a huge advocate for independent films and documentary films as well' he explained.
'So, for us to come here and be able to support this is very important.'
Popping the question:
Jonathan proposed to Zooey on August 13 on a family holiday to Scotland and Zooey's two children, Elsie and Charlie, were also involved in the surprise.
The pair made a joint post announcing their engagement online, writing 'forever starts now!!!' alongside a smiling selfie.
Celeb friends, including Hannah Simone, Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield, who were part of the cast of Zooey's breakout show New Girl, commented on their post congratulating the couple.
Hannah Simone, who played Zooey's best friend Cece in the show, commented, 'I LOVE YOU!! This is so wonderful.' Jake Johnson, who played Zooey's onscreen roommate and love interest Nick, also commented, 'CONGRATS!!!!'
Zooey's past relationships:
Before meeting her fiancé, Zooey had been married twice. Zooey was previously married to Deathcab for the Cutie frontman, Ben Gibbard. She met him in 2009 and the musician had proposed within the same year!
They married in 2009, but their divorce was formalised in 2012. At the time, Zooey claimed 'irreconcilable differences' as the basis for the divorce.
Following her divorce from Ben, sparks flew for Zooey once again when she met her second husband, Jacob Pechenik. The two crossed paths while working on the 2015 movie Rock the Kasbah.
Zooey confirmed her engagement to Jacob in January 2015, and the couple married six months later. The pair share two children: daughter Elsie Otter, eight, and Charlie Wolf, six. Completely in love, Zooey also converted to Judaism for her then-husband.
But several months before she met her now-fiancé, Jonathan, Zooey confirmed her separation from Jacob in 2019.
