Everyone has their own rituals for getting in the zone, and for Clodagh McKenna, it's meditation followed by a boogie!
The TV chef, 50, showed off her funky dance moves before a This Morning as she enjoyed her very own 'silent disco' dancing to DJ Khaled's hit song Wild Thoughts, featuring Rihanna.
Clodagh swayed her hips and sang along to the song while wearing a white T-shirt and dungarees before she went live on TV to demonstrate cooking a Chicken Paella on Wednesday.
The author said that the dancing was part of her usual pre-show ritual, which she starts with a 10-minute meditation followed by a little dance to shake off the nerves.
Clodagh shared her hip hop moves in a behind-the-scenes video, writing: 'How I keep calm, happy, balanced under pressure… A little glimpse of what I do behind the scenes @thismorning.
'This was earlier today 10 minutes before cooking live to over 2 million gorgeous viewers around the country.
'It’s become part of my routine to clear my mind and bring me happiness, before the silent disco I always do a 10-minute meditation.'
She continued: 'Thought it might be useful to someone out there to see how I keep myself in check under pressure.
'It’s not about being a good dancer or a bad one, it’s about loosing yourself to music which gives your mind a break from all the worries we have in life. Find your ritual to look after yourself. Love, Clodagh xx.'
Clodagh has been practicing what she calls her 'happiness routine' for years and previously spoke about how important her morning practices are to her.
These include meditation, breath work, a cold shower, 30-minute cardio, and a dance while she makes green juice. Very impressive, but we'll probably just stick to coffee!
