The new presenting line-up at 2FM is still finding its feet as the station has failed to deliver a boost in numbers in the latest JNLR figures.
Figures released on Thursday show that 2FM Breakfast, presented by Rozanna Purcell, Aisling Bonner, and Carl Mullan, Doireann Garrihy’s 2FM Drive, and 2FM Morning with Laura Fox are all down.
As of August, 2FM Breakfast has 139,000 listeners tuning in on weekday mornings, which is 10,000 less than last year, while Laura has 122,000 listeners to her show, compared to 141,000 listeners last August.

Doireann's show now has 125,000 listeners, but had 157,000 listeners when the figures were released in August 2024. The Tracy Clifford Show has 110,000 listeners and in August 2024 had 128,000.
Commenting on the latest numbers, Dan Healy, Head of RTÉ 2FM, said: 'It's early days for the new 2FM schedule which first went on air in February and therefore isn’t fully reflected in these results.

'We’re just back from a great weekend of broadcasting from All Together Now and are getting ready to head to Stradbally for Electric Picnic.'
Over on RTÉ Radio One, Louise Duffy's show now has 219,000 listeners, compared to 221,000 in 2024, and Today with Claire Byrne has 354,000. In the JNLRs from August 2024, she had 344,000.

Liveline, which recently said goodbye to Joe Duffy, has also had a small drop in the year, going from 302,000 listeners in August 2024 to having a listenership of 299,000 in 2025.
Despite the drops, RTÉ's radio services are still the most-listened-to in Ireland for all adults with a 29 per cent market share.

Patricia Monahan, Director of Audio, RTÉ said: 'RTÉ Radio 1 remains the most-popular station in Ireland, reaching 1.4 million listeners every week, an increase of 25,000 over the last three months.
'It has also grown its share of 35–54-year-olds to 14 per cent, outperforming all other stations in that demographic.'
