In a move straight out of the 007 playbook, one actor has revealed the extreme lengths studio bosses go to to keep James Bond scripts under wraps.
While typically film scripts tend to be emailed, a Sony Pictures breach in 2014 that saw drafts of Spectre leaked online has forced bosses to be more careful.
According to Rory Kinnear, who has played MI6 Chief of Staff Bill Tanner in the past four Bond outings, that includes hand-delivering the scripts.

Speaking to Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his Dinner's On Me podcast, he said: 'The script for James Bond is delivered by car. And if there are changes in the scripts, they are delivered by car.'
It's little wonder that Bond producers are being so protective in the aftermath of the leak, which gave away major plot spoilers as well as the $300m budget outlay for the film.

Perhaps most irritating of all for Bond bosses, the leak also reportedly gave away details of the celebrities' exchanges with executives, blasting the ending and repeatedly asking for it to be rewritten.
Given the fevered speculation as to who will play the next super spy, no doubt the bosses are doubling down on their efforts to keep every last detail of the forthcoming franchise top secret.
As things stand, Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the hot favourite to take up the mantle from Daniel Craig.
Sydney Sweeney, meanwhile, has been widely tipped for a starring Bond girl role in the wake of her appearance at Jeff Bezos's wedding to Lauren Sanchez.

Amazon acquired the rights to the Bond franchise when it bought out MGM in 2022 and subsequently took creative control of the film series.
Pre-production on the latest film is reportedly underway, and it's believed the cast will be announced in 2025 before filming begins, reportedly in 2026.

There is speculation that the filming will switch from London to Liverpool owing to a ban on Central London ban in 2026.
