Plot
While Disney is keeping plot details under wraps, reports say the sequel follows Miranda as she struggles to navigate her career as the magazine publishing industry is crumbling around her.

Emily recently chatted about the upcoming film, which sees her and Meryl's characters continuing their dysfunctional relationship.
'Why are Meryl and I so mean to each other in every movie we do?' Emily joked while chatting to Entertainment Tonight. 'We always have beef with each other. I don’t know what it is. Let’s hope we remedy it. I’m not sure.'
Release date
It has been revealed that the hotly anticipated sequel is now in production. You don't need to get your popcorn ready just yet, as the film is set to be released on May 1, 2026.
