Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen's how they met story is so sweet you'd be forgiven for thinking it was taken from the plot of a romcom.
The couple, who are parents to twin girls called Summer and Star as well as Dani's son Santi, have just tied the knot surrounded by their loved ones.
What started out as an innocent romance between West Ham's golden boy and TV star sweetly blossomed into a forever relationship, but how did they first lock eyes? Trust us, this is a good story!
How they met
The couple first sparked romance rumours in October 2021 after Jarrod was pictured leaving Dani's Essex home and it was actually thanks to this short walk that they first met.
Dani told Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast: 'I moved into the house I was in with Santi and he was only a few months old. It was a really small, cute little neighbourhood. I loved that house.
'People were like "oh, Jarrod Bowen lives next door" but I didn't follow football at the time, just wasn't interested in football.'
Here's where things get Hollywood and we have to wonder if Netflix is onto this as a plot. 'Then he knocked on my door a couple of times because my parcels went there,' Dani revealed.
She continued: 'I remember the first time I opened the door… you know what it's like, slicked-back hair… and I opened the door and I didn't know this is Jarrod Bowen and he was hot. Blue eyes, blonde hair, a bit of me.'
The couple met when the Love Island star was going through a tough time when her ex-partner Sammy Kimmence, with whom she shares her son Santiago, was jailed for fraud.
The West Ham footballer helped her through the difficult few months that followed Sammy's conviction before their relationship blossomed into something more.
The loved-up pair took their relationship to the next level in 2022 when they decided to move in together. They later expanded their family and welcomed twin girls into the world.
Danny's seal of approval
In what we're sure was a 'wipes the sweat from his brow' moment for Jarrod, the footballer quickly won over Dani's protective father, TV hardman Danny Dyer.
When asked about her dad's impression of her beau, the Love Island star told The Sun: 'My dad thinks Jarrod’s a lovely guy.'
It also helps that Danny is a huge West Ham fan. Chatting with Heat magazine ahead of her wedding in May, Dani even joked that they've been teasing Jarrod that he's marrying the wrong Dyer!
Their family
Jarrod is step-dad to Dani's son Santiago, whom she shares with her ex Sammy Kimmence.
In January 2023, the couple announced that Santiago was going to be a big brother to twins, writing: 'We have been keeping a little secret... Our little TWINS.
'So excited to meet our babies and watch Santi be the best big brother. The biggest surprise of our lives but feeling SO blessed... our family is getting a lot bigger and we can’t wait.'
Dani and Jarrod subsequently welcomed twin girls, whom they named Summer and Star, to the world on May 22, 2023.
Dani is Jarrod's biggest supporter
Dani is Jarrod's biggest fan and she often attends his matches. In fact, she joined him in Germany to watch England take on Spain in the final of the European Championship in 2024.
Danny was on babysitting duties for the trip, telling KISS FM: 'Dani's going to Germany and so I've got all the grandkids.
'It'll be hard work trying to watch it with three kids under three in my house and a barking bulldog and a ten-year-old son and a menopausal wife. We me luck everyone because that's a combination that, init.'
Saying I Do
Ten months after announcing their engagement, Dani and Jarrod made things official and became husband and wife.
They tied the knot on May 31 with just 50 of their nearest and dearest in attendance at the romantic ceremony
Dani looked beautiful on her big day, wearing an off-the-shoulder white dress with ruching across the front and a structured bodice.
Dani's dress, which was a bespoke creation by Suzanne Neville, flowed out behind her into a train and she added to her bridal look with a pretty white veil.
It's clear that the pair are inseparable, and we can't wait to see what comes next for them both.
