Home is where the heart is for Muireann O'Connell, who has finally achieved her dream of being a homeowner and officially calling her fiancé her housemate.
The host has been on the hunt to buy a house with her fiancé Philip, whom she affectionately dubs her 'housemate' for four years, and has kept her followers updated on their efforts along the way.
That has included several setbacks where they have been outbid and previously come so close to owning their own property, even going sale agreed on a property, at one point, only for the deal to fall through.

Now, after much heartbreak and disappointment, Muireann and Philip are officially homeowners!
She broke the exciting news by sharing a series of pictures of their new place and revealed that they have managed to snap up a bungalow.
'If I were a pedant, I would have been calling him my bungalow-mate. Today, I can legitimately call him my housemate',' she happily announced on Friday.

Muireann delved into the gruelling process of buying a home and had thanked those who'd helped them with their dream buy, saying: ' Thank you to the lovely previous owners and to everyone who helped us to get here.
'Ye are the best, we've been terrible at this process, God house buying has been a slog!
'I know it's not easy for anyone going through it, much love.

'It can be soul-destroying. But, bloody hell, do I feel good today. Now, how the hell do you decorate a house?'
Among the first look pictures of their new home was one of Muireann posing in front of a large bay window overlooking the street.
There was also one of the obligatory bottles of champagne chilling in the fridge, along with, hilariously, orange ice pops in the freezer and the sold sign out front.

In another short, Muireann gives a peek at what appears to be a bedroom as she lies on the plush grey carpet, and there are also more pictures of them enjoying celebratory drinks.
Among those who shared their congratulations was her Ireland AM co-star Tommy Bowe, who wrote: 'Ahhh thank the lord!!! Congratulations, delighted for you both.'

'Let the excitement and head melting decision commence!' added Sile Seoige while Lousie Cooney posted: 'Yayy huge congrats to you both!! Exciting times.'
During their house buying journey, Muireann told EVOKE: 'It's heartbreaking. Houses fall through. We've gone sale agreed, the house has fallen through. It's been three years now. It's really depressing.
'And everyone thinks that I'm an absolutely useless article because loads of people buy houses, right? And why am I finding it so difficult? We're looking everywhere... I just think it's really heartbreaking.'
