The 28-year-old who hails from the sunny southeast is best known for her role as Anya in the 2022 Netflix series, The Midnight Club.

Previously opening up about her life before the mystery thriller series, Ruth admitted on social media: 'The girl who went from being unemployed during COVID to being cast in a Netflix show, how cool would she have thought all the stuff I've done since would have been.'

Ruth didn't start out with a desire to be famous, and she was actually a professional make-up artist and barber before the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, after losing her job as a barber, she began posting videos on TikTok and by the end of the year she had amassed an impressive following of more than 670,000, and garnered over 20.5 million likes.

Ruth's TikTok content began with funny skits about nuns, but later focused more on disability awareness. Although she had her 'big break' at 25, which is younger than many Hollywood stars, her life has not always been smooth sailing.

When Ruth was fifteen years old, she seriously injured her foot playing football, and at 23 decided to have her right leg amputated below the knee due to complications following the break.

Although she has since deleted her TikTok account, it was actually the beginning of her career, as that is how she was discovered by the creators of The Haunting of Hill House.

Her role as Juno Usher in the 2023 drama, The Fall of the House was one of the top trending series at the time.

We can't wait to see how Ruth's career progresses from here, and more importantly, whether she remains a 'faithful' on the juicy celebrity version of The Traitors!
