It must be true that talent runs in the family as comedian Pat Shortt's daughter, Faye Shortt, has just landed her own show with Dublin radio station Spin 1038.
The father-daughter comedy duo are currently touring Australia and New Zealand with their comedy show named Knuckle Down with six dates down under.
However, following their final show in Auckland on May 11, Faye will be hopping on a flight home to Ireland to get stuck into an exciting new project!

Faye will be taking up a regular 7pm weeknight slot with the Dublin news station with her new show that she will be co-hosting with fellow Spin presenter Jamie Maguire starting on May 19.
Speaking about her new job, Faye could barely contain her excitement telling her followers, 'Holding this in was probably the hardest thing I'll ever do because I'm coming home to join the Spin 1038 family.

'I'm going to be co-hosting with the fabulous Jamie Maguire and I'm starting on May 19 so tune in.'
She jokingly threatened: 'And if you don't tune in I will hunt you down and I will find you... only joking!'

Spin 1038 announced the exciting news on Wednesday, writing: 'NEW SHOW ALERT.
'We are thrilled to announce that Irish actress and comedian Faye Shortt is joining our line-up alongside Jamie Maguire later this month, bringing fresh chemistry, big laughs, and that signature SPIN energy weeknights from 7pm.
'Join us in welcoming Faye to the team. Catch Jamie and Faye on SPIN for big laughs and big hits starting Monday, May 19th!'
