Friday was a big day for Paddy and Doireann Andrews. The couple finally became a family of four, as the pair welcomed their second child, a little girl.
The former Dublin football player and his wife of almost four years picked out a very meaningful name for their daughter, calling her Eden. The proud mum shared a post, explaining the origin.
'Eden - definition: a state of great delight, happiness, or contentment; bliss, unspoiled natural beauty.' Doireann gushed over her new baby, writing: 'Suits you, baby girl.'

The couple, who are already parents to one-year-old Hugo, took to social media to announce that their little one was finally here. 'Eden Andrews 25.04.25 A dream come true,' they wrote, under an adorable snap of the baby lying on a cosy pink blanket, with a cream jumper saying her name.
Paddy also shared a sweet black and white snap, holding his little girl. The GAA player smiled from ear to ear as he looked down at his daughter, holding her tiny hand.

'9lbs 8oz of pure perfection,' Doireann added on her story. People flocked to the comment section to congratulate the two-time parents, who tied the knot at the five-star Castle Leslie Estate in 2021.
Suzanne Jackson led the way, writing: 'Omg, welcome to the girl gang little one…..Huge congratulations.' Niamh de Brun added: 'Congratulations,' alongside a series of emojis.

'Ah, huge congrats, guys, welcome to the world, Eden. Well done, mammy,' another person said, while a fourth penned: 'Congratulations. She’s beautiful and I love the name.'
The couple announced the news that they were set to welcome a second baby back in November, by sharing an adorable picture of Hugo wearing a knitted jumper, with the words 'Big brother' on the back, as he sat next to a smaller jumper with the words 'little sister' on it.

The couple made the most of their second pregnancy, heading off to Tipperary on a dreamy 'babymoon' weekend away in February. They headed to Cashel Palace Hotel to spend some alone time, as they prepared to welcome Eden.
Congratulations, Paddy and Doireann!
