He may not have won the Glitterball trophy on Dancing With The Stars on Sunday night, but Jack Woolley got a much better surprise after the show wrapped.
The Olympian's longtime boyfriend Dave Stig got down on one knee at the RTÉ show's wrap party in front of friends and family. The Taekwondo champion took to social media to announce the happy news.
He shared a snap of the soon-to-be newlyweds kissing, holding up his hand to show off his sleek new silver engagement ring. '17/03/2025,' he penned, alongside the diamond ring emoji.
People rushed to the comment section to congratulate the couple, with Jack's former DWTS competitor Elaine Crowley leading the way. 'I’m the flower girl!!' she joked.
'Congratulations! I'm off to buy a hat,' Nuala Carey wrote, while Jack's dancing partner Alexandra Vladimirov said: 'SCREAMING CRYING. Two most beautiful people on earth xxx'

The engagement came as a happy surprise, as Jack had been originally planning to be the one to propose.
He recently opened up about his hopes to pop the question when the dancing contest ended. 'I want to do it [get engaged] sooner rather than later because I am going back to Spain and Dave is starting to train for the Gardaí in Templemore in the middle of the year,' he told Dublin Live.
'I would like something to make our bond a little bit more intense when we are on opposite sides of the world.' His pro partner Alex Vladimirov added: 'When we started he said "If we win, I am going to get engaged to Dave on national television". That might happen, so he better prepare the ring.'
Congratulations Jack and Dave! Enjoy the celebrations!
