Garron Noone has had an incredible year professionally, and rightfully so- he entertains us with daily videos giving out about people's dinners or controversial topics such as RIP.ie wanting to charge for their service.
The comedian has more than earned the huge success he has had in the last year which saw his Instagram and TikTok accounts grow to 1.5 million and of course, have the one and only Stevie Nicks mention him on stage during her Dublin concert.
Although we are often only shown his funny side on social media, Garron does not shy away from talking about his mental health or his decade-long battle with Agoraphobia- a debilitating condition that involves fearing and avoiding places or situations that might evoke feelings of panic.
Touching on this in a vulnerable and honest video posted to social media, Garron admitted that his life turned around in a way he could have never imagined, urging his followers to 'hold out' for their chance to do the same because it is 'amazing.'
He explained: 'About two years ago I was 100% housebound and agoraphobic for ten years, if I tried to leave my house or do anything I would have a panic attack, no social life or life of any kind, I would go to work in the phone shop and have four or five panic attacks and go home.'

Garron added that he was 'frightened to do anything' and 'never thought he would recover' or that there was 'any hope in life to have a meaningful existence.'
He said: 'It has been an amazing year , I never thought I was going to recover, I never that I would have a meaningful existence, and the last year has completely transformed my life.'
A lot of people have lives that are really messy behind the scenes and it can be difficult to look forward in that position or to try and pursue the things that you want to do whatever that may be.'

Garron also shared the biggest lesson he has learned this year which is that your life doesn't have to be 'fixed' entirely to look forward to things.
He added: 'You don't have to fix everything to really start going for it, and in going for it I fixed a lot of problems that I thought would hold me back from doing the things I always wanted to do.'

For his followers who think that this message doesn't apply to them, Garron said: 'I'm not discounting that some people don't have problems bigger than mine, but for any of you that feel you are not worthy or able to pursue something because of the point in your life you're at- I would just encourage you to do small, hard things every day because they do build up.'
Relating to those who may be struggling at the moment, Garron shared that he knows how they feel and at one point in his life he too 'felt like every door he opened led nowhere,' but encouraged them to keep going.
Who else thinks Garron should go into motivational speaking in 2025? What an amazing guy, we wish you an even better year than the last- you deserve it!
