Islanders may enter Love Island to find the person for them on the dating show but many of the stars have since found 'their forever person' outside of the villa.
While some of the show's cast members have seen their fair share of heartbreak in 2024, with fan favorites Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury splitting up, there has also been a host of happy ever-afters.
There must have been something in the air in December as four former Love Islanders have gotten engaged. These are the islanders who are closing out the year as soon-to-be newlyweds...
Josh Denzel and Ruby Wong

Josh Denzel popped the question to his girlfriend Ruby Wong in the most romantic way. The 2018 season star took a leaf out of the Christmas rom-com playbook when he got down on one knee.
The 32-year-old brought his girlfriend of six years to the Swiss Alps where he had a dreamy afternoon planned for her.

The pair took a helicopter over the mountains to a snowy set-up, which featured red roses, candles, and Champagne on ice.
He took to social media to share the happy news, alongside a series of snaps of the happy couple.
'My love, every day with you is a gift, and I’m so blessed to spend the rest of my life by your side. You are my rock, my guide, and my heart. And now, you’re my fiancé. I love you always,' he penned.
Sam Gowland and Scarlett Rae

Sam Gowland has had many shots at love between his time in the villa and Geordie Shore and he appears to have finally gotten it right.
He popped the big question to his girlfriend Scarlett Rae on a scenic boat cruise in Dubai. The pair looked sunkissed as they enjoyed celebratory drinks.
'Yesterday, today, tomorrow, I’d always choose you. Here’s to forever,' he wrote in a series of snaps which he shared to Instagram, showing off Scarlett's new sparkler.

Rosie Williams
Six years after Rosie William's iconic spat with Adam Collard on Love Island, she has found her fairytale ending.
The 33-year-old, who garnered praise for that 'girl boss' moment, has gotten engaged in the Maldives.
Rosie's new fiancé appears to be very private, and so she hasn't shared his name.
However, she did share a series of gorgeous snaps from the special moment, which saw her mystery man set up dozens of white roses in glass flower pots lining the entrance of their villa.
Rosie wore a gorgeous floral mini as she stepped out to meet her man at the waterfront.
Mike Boateng
Mike Boateng followed in his fellow islanders' footsteps as he popped the question to his mystery girlfriend, four years after his appearance on the 2020 Winter season of the ITV show.
The former policeman kept his new fiancée's identity hidden as he posted her with a giant bouquet of red roses covering her face.

He accompanied the sweet snaps with the date of the engagement and a quote from the bible. '21.12.24. - Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the lord whatever you do and he will establish your plans,"' he wrote.
There must be something in the water surrounding the Majorcan villa!
