Irish actress Nicola Coughlan has revealed that she and her Derry Girls co-stars have 'long overdue' plans to reunite.
The 37-year-old played Clare in the comedy series which was set during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
The Bridgerton star spoke to the Radio Times about her relationship with her former cast members.

She told the outlet about a possible reunion, saying: 'Louisa Harland and I talk all the time – she was at my house the other day. But otherwise, everyone’s been so busy!'
'I actually have a bottle of champagne that we were given on the wrap of series one, and I keep saying I’m going to have them all around for dinner, and we’re going to toast Siobhan McSweeney’s Bafta win. It’s so long overdue.'

The 44-year-old won a Bafta TV award for best female performance in a comedy in 2023 for her role as Sister Michael in the comedy series.
The show, which ran for three years and finished in 2022 also starred leading Irish actors Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell and Dylan Llewellyn.

Nicola also discussed her latest role in Doctor Who's Christmas special, saying that she had to do huge amounts of research into the world as she 'didn't grow up with it.'
She said: 'When they asked me, I was super-keen. But when I tried to do the research, I thought: ‘Oh my God … this is a full universe.'

Nicola also confessed that she was 'overwhelmed,' but decided to 'just try to do her best acting and hopefully make the Who fans happy-' not a bad idea!
In the special, the actress stars opposite Sex Education actor Ncuti Gatwa, who first appeared in the Doctor Who world role as the Time Lord during the last instalment of the 60th anniversary episodes in 2023.

Her role in Doctor Who isn't all Nicola has in store for her fans, however, as the acclaimed actress is set to star in a film adaptation of Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree.
Nicola will star as Silky opposite Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy in the film, slated for a 2025 release, which is helmed by BAFTA-award winner Simon Farnaby aka the brains behind Paddington 2 and Wonka.
