Fate truly intervened in the case of Annalivia Hynds and her husband, Ruairi McGivern.
Respectively 16 and 18 years old when they first met, the couple were from two separate counties. However, a number of chance encounters across the span of two years led their flirtatious friendship to blossom into romance.
Seven years and three children later, Annalivia and Ruairi are as happy together as ever. Here's everything we know about their love story as they say I Do...
How They Met
Annalivia and Ruairi originally met in 2014 but things didn't heat up between the pair until three years later.
The couple, who lived 45 minutes away from each other at the time, had never met before but got chatting when they became the 'third wheels' to two couples on a night out.
Speaking in a video, Annalivia recalled that the 'craic was good' between her and Ruairi and that they spent the night 'bouncing off each other.'
Perhaps a little tipsy, Ruairi quickly became infatuated with Annalivia and by the end of the night he had told her he loved her and vowed to marry her- ambitious!
'Do you ever feel like the universe just keeps making you bump into someone for a reason? That's what I felt like with Ruairi,' Annalivia continued, explaining that she and Ruairi would continuously run into each other.
Nothing official had happened between them at this point because of their age difference and the fact they were at different life stages, and the TikTok star wound up in another relationship. 'That was the end of Ruairi for a while!' she joked.
However, when that romance fizzled out Annalivia recalled 'specifically thinking: "I wonder what Ruairi's doing?"' Again, the pair continued to randomly bump into one another on nights out.
Two years on from their initial meeting, the TikTok star and her friend moved up to The Holylands in Belfast. Low and behold, who lived beside her? Ruairi!
The couple escalated their relationship from friendship to romance and the rest, as they say, is history- aw!
Engagement
Five years into their relationship, Ruairi got down on one knee in July 2022.
The Down native popped the question to his longtime love Annalivia while they were holidaying with their daughters in Spain.
A sweet video documenting the proposal shows the pair recording a video together before Ruairi gets up out of his chair, steps back and gets down on one knee.

Their Family
Annalivia and Ruairi share three children- two daughters and a son.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Robyn Rose, on December 24, 2019- the best Christmas present ever!
In June 2021, Annalivia and Ruairi announced they were expecting their second child together by debuting her baby bump in a sweet Father's Day snap. They subsequently welcomed their daughter Rhea Caroline to the world that December.
The Armagh native announced her third pregnancy in October 2023, and she and Ruairi welcomed a baby boy, called Rían, into the world in April 2024.
Preparing to say I Do
Before their wedding in July 2025, Annalivia was whisked away to Ibiza on a fun-filled hen party by her closest pals, which they documented online.
Fans were living for the updates, with many saying they wish they'd been on the 'hen of the year', and Annalivia seemed to have a ball as she partied the weekend away in style.
It wasn't all smooth sailing to the aisle though and just four weeks out from their big day, Annalivia and Ruairi's little girls had a mishap with the scissors.
Luckily it was four weeks before the wedding and not four days.. we're sure the girls will be looking fab for their parents' big day on July 10!

Annalivia and Ruairi said I Do on Thursday, July 10, celebrating their marriage with their loved ones at Killeavy Castle Estate in Co Armagh.
The couple's day, dubbed TikTok's royal wedding by some, seemed to be a dreamy affair with videos from the nuptials showing the new Mr and Mrs beaming smiles as they posed for snaps.
Annalivia wore a classic dress on their big day, wearing a long dress with a fitted square-neck bodice and A-line skirt that scooped slightly on the back and was styled with a veil. Gorgeous!
