If it stars Daniel Craig, we're going to watch it, and anticipation only continues to build for the third Knives Out film.
The film, which bears the official title Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, will be with us before the end of 2025, the perfect cosy watch when it drops on Netflix on December 12.
The eerie teaser trailer for the upcoming movie, which was released on Monday, hears quirky sleuth Benoit Blanc (Craig) describe the case as a 'classic impossible crime'.
Elsewhere, Glenn Close's character describes the murder of Monsignor Wicks (Josh Brolin) as a 'holy crime', and one which is 'unsolvable', but we know that's definitely not going to be the case!
There's no official logline for the film, with its only descriptor that it's Blanc's 'most dangerous case yet', which only adds to the suspense of it all.
So, what do we know about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery?
Like its predecessors, it boasts a starry cast is in the cast

Variety first reported that Marvel actor Jeremy Renner, who was crushed by a snow plough in January 2023, is back in action and has been welcomed to the Knives Out franchise.
The 54-year-old joins huge names in the starry ensemble cast, including not just one, but two of our very own Irish stars: Andrew Scott and Daryl McCormack.

Renowned actresses Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, and Mila Kunis also star in Rian Johnson's latest whodunit, as does Josh Brolin.
Other potential suspects in Knives Out 3 include Challengers star Josh O'Connor, who also starred as a young Prince Charles in Netflix's The Crown, as well as Priscilla actress Cailee Spaeny.
What do we know about the plot?

Although details of the plot have yet to be revealed, Mr Johnson promises the third film in the murder mystery series will be Benoit Blanc's 'most dangerous case yet'.
It's safe to say fans were more than excited when Netflix announced Knives Out 3, with one writing: 'Give me as many of these films as possible!'

Others cited their dream cast, most of which included Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey and Barry Keoghan, who is set to portray Ringo Starr in a new series of films about The Beatles.
In a teaser clip announcing the title of the franchise's third instalment, Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc says: 'In the beginning, the knives came out. Then, behold, the glass was shattered. But my most dangerous case yet is about to be revealed.' Immediate intrigue!
What happens in the other Knives Out films?

The first Knives Out film, which was released in 2019, follows the detective as he attempts to solve the murder of renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey, who died in his home on the night of his 85th birthday.
The film was incredibly star-studded with Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, and Toni Collette joining Daniel on the big screen.

The second instalment in the Knives Out franchise was 2022 film Glass Onion. Starring Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn and Kate Hudson amongst others, it follows a tech billionaire who invites his closest friends to a private island for a murder mystery game which becomes all too real.
We don't know about you, but we simply can't wait for the third instalment to see what kind of mystery Benoit Blanc accidentally happens upon this time around!
