The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly 'furious' and wants to confront the King over his new organic Highgrove Royal Estate Honey, which is seemingly overshadowing her own preserves.

In April the first product in Meghan's lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard was unveiled as strawberry jam, and a source has now claimed 'as far as Meghan's concerned' it's 'no coincidence' that Charles' release coincided with her own.

'She is trying to establish herself as a lifestyle mogul, but now she’s competing with a royal rival,' the source told New Idea, adding that Meghan is 'convinced' Charles recently launched Highgrove Splash, a new men's cologne, in a 'deliberate attempt to curb her success.'

'She had no idea [about this] and now suddenly, as she sees it, there's a glut of his products on the market,' they said. 'She's one step away from calling Charles about the clash but Prince Harry is holding her back.'

Meghan is said to have long-term plans to develop her own men's grooming range. Per trademark filings, the Duchess of Sussex also plans to sell homewares, cooking utensils, make-up and pet food under her lifestyle brand.

One Sky News presenter launched a scathing attack on the Suits actress, saying Charles' product launches weren't 'actually about' her but 'why not take it as an excuse to make it' so.

Charles has been a mogul in the organic food industry since he created Duchy Originals 34 years ago in 1990. His latest offering, organic Highgrove Royal Estate Honey, retails for an eye-watering $50 per jar.

It wasn't on our bingo card that in 2024 the Royal Family would be fighting over preserves...
