Who is Olivia Henson?
Olivia is a senior account manager at Belazu- a corporation that imports high-quality ingredients from across Europe with an environmentally friendly focus.
The businesswoman is based in London for work, while her husband spreads his time between the capital and his Cheshire home- although now it's likely they will base themselves from Hugh's London flat now they're married.
Although little is known about Olivia, we do know that she was a Trinity student. She studied in Ireland several years ago and formed friendships with lots of Irish many of whom were invited to her wedding.

Her elite private education started at the Dragon School in Oxford before going to Marlborough College, whose alumni include Kate and Pippa Middleton.
She didn't fare too badly at Trinners either, achieving a 2:1 in Hispanic Studies and Italian. Although she studied at the prestigious third-level institution, that's not where she met her Duke.

They add that: 'Olivia is also descended from John Manners, the 5th Duke of Rutland, and is a distant cousin of the Manners sisters Lady Violet, Lady Alice and Lady Eliza.'
Olivia has a younger sister called Emilia, 27, and a younger brother, Jasper, 30.
How did Olivia and Hugh meet?

The couple were introduced through mutual friends a mere three years ago, but it seems it only took 24 months for the Duke to be sure. He got down on one knee at Eaton Hall in Chesire, with the pair sharing the happy news with a candid photograph.
The couple appeared in casual clothing in their announcement photo, presenting themselves with minimal in the picture for a down-to-earth, laid-back feel.
The big day

The couple said I Do on Friday, June 7, 2024 and their wedding ceremony was held at Chester Cathedral. Around 400 guests attended the ceremony with hundreds more lining the street to wish the newlyweds well.
Olivia looked sublime in a dress designed by Emma Victoria Payne which was created in a simple column style and had sweet family meaning.

She kept her makeup simple for the big day and opted for lots of warm peachy tones. She had a white gel manicure to complete her bridal look.
Which royals made the guest list?

The Duke, who secured the top spot on the Sunday Times' 40 under 40 Rich List for the second year in a row, and Olivia are extremely well connected and their wedding was a who's who of British high society.
Hugh is a long-time friend of Prince William, meaning he and Kate Middleton were invited, although the Princess of Wales did not attend as she was undergoing cancer treatment at the time.
It's also understood that King Charles, who is Hugh's godfather, and his wife Queen Camilla were invited although neither of them made the wedding.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also did not attend the wedding, despite Hugh being a godfather to their son Archie. Hugh is also a godfather to William and Kate's eldest son, Prince George.
Princess Eugenie attended the society wedding of the year as well as Thomas Van Straubenzee, who is Princess Charlotte's godfather, and his wife Lucy, who taught the Princess and Prince George at Thomas's Battersea School.

Charles van Straubenzee and his wife Daisy were also seen arriving at the cathedral. Charles is a good pal of Prince Harry and acted as an usher at his and Meghan's wedding and is godfather to their son Archie.
What was Prince William's role at the wedding?

Prince William acted as an usher at his good pal's wedding meaning he was one of the people welcoming the new Mr and Mrs' guests to the cathedral.
This wasn't his first time being an usher as Prince William also had the role at Hugh's sister Lady Tamara Grosvenor's wedding to Edward van Cutsem in 2004.
Baby makes three

Nine months after their wedding, Hugh and Olivia announced their family was growing as they were expecting their first child.
Keeping to tradition, the announcement was made through a spokesperson. A statement read: 'The Duke and Duchess of Westminister are very pleased to share that the Duchess is expecting a baby in the summer. The couple is delighted with the news and very much looking forward to starting a family together.'
Another statement shared in July 2025 confirmed their little one's arrival. 'We are thrilled to announce the birth of our baby daughter. We now look forward to spending this special time together as a family,' the new mum and dad said.
Hugh and Olivia have named their daughter Cosima Florence. Cosima is a very old Italian name derived from the Greek name Kosmas. It means 'order and harmony' in the universe, and is popular in the British upper classes.
