Keeping to tradition, the announcement was made through a spokesperson. A statement read: 'The Duke and Duchess of Westminister are very pleased to share that the Duchess is expecting a baby in the summer. The couple is delighted with the news and very much looking forward to starting a family together.'

Another statement shared in July 2025 confirmed their little one's arrival. 'We are thrilled to announce the birth of our baby daughter. We now look forward to spending this special time together as a family,' the new mum and dad said.

Hugh and Olivia have named their daughter Cosima Florence. Cosima is a very old Italian name derived from the Greek name Kosmas. It means 'order and harmony' in the universe, and is popular in the British upper classes.
