The pink carpet was rolled out last night for the Irish premiere of Deadly Cuts with the glittering cast in attendance.
The film, a black comedy set in working-class Dublin, celebrates an all-female line up and stars Victoria Smurfit, Angeline Ball and Pauline McLynn.

The story centres around a Dublin hair salon where the stylists become accidental vigilantes and neighbourhood heroes as they take on the gang members and gentrifiers threatening their community and it's a laugh-a-minute watch.
There’s big hype around the film with talk of a TV series in the style of The Young Offenders in the works.

Certainly writer and director Rachel Carey has a pilot drafted for consideration, she says there are so many more places for the characters to go and stories to tell.
In attendance on the night was Victoria Smurfit who plays Pippa in the feature, a role quite different for her. The actress says she enjoyed showing off a new side of herself on screen.
‘The whole process was hilarious just from start to finish,’ she told The Irish Times. ‘I think there’s a perception of me that’s [drops into her roundest south Dublin accent] like this. It’s good to take the mick out of myself and go as far as I can run in the other direction.’

Victoria walked the pink carpet hand-in-hand with her boyfriend Steve Jacob and they looked a picture of happiness together.
The actress looked incredible in a leather skirt teamed up with a velvet blazer and statement red heels.
Dirty Cuts lands in cinemas across Ireland this Friday, 8 October.
