The photos of Prince Philip's funeral show an unprecedentedly intimate event—befitting of a man who didn't want a 'fuss'.
The funeral took place at St George's Chapel and was a far reduced service, owing to current governmental restrictions. As a result of these restrictions, the funeral was only attended by 30 guests—representing the true inner circle of the British royal family.

Even the most resolute anti-royalist couldn't help but feel sadness on seeing photos of the Queen sitting alone in St George's chapel, mourning her husband prince Philip on the day of his funeral. The ordinarily stone-faced monarch, who's soon to celebrate her 95th birthday, was even seen wiping away a tear.

The Queen sat alone, owing to Covid rules, and was a heartbreakingly solitary figure at the funeral of her husband of 73 years.
