Harry and Meghan WILL release pictures of Archie on his first birthday

When Harry and Meghan stepped back as senior royals it looked like they would stop sharing details of their private life, including pictures.

They are no longer obligated to share any photos with the public, including snaps of Archie on his birthday.

And as they have announced that they will no longer be updating their Instagram, we weren't holding our breath for any new pictures of little Archie.

However, now it looks like our dreams have come true.

Harry and Meghan's son turns one on the May 6 and it looks like we will be getting a glimpse at him.

'You can expect to see him,' a spokesman for the couple told the Sunday Times, without specifying any more details about the picture or how they would be sharing it.

Harry, Meghan and Archie are currently self-isolating in Los Angeles, after moving there from Canada just before lockdown measures were applied.

The last time we got a real look at little Archie was on New Year's Eve. The couple shared a video which saw Harry holding his son.

Archie was also front and centre on the couple's Christmas card, as his parents beamed in the background in front of a Christmas tree.

After so long with no new photos, we're sure royal fans are overjoyed to get a glimpse at how much he's grown.

While we haven't seen him, his great-grandmother has as the couple video-called Queen Elizabeth for her 94th birthday earlier this week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their son video called the monarch on Tuesday to wish her many happy returns on her birthday, their spokesperson confirmed at the time.
