Here come the gowns! Check out all the style from TIFF 2019

Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) kicked off this week and will run for 10 days as it showcases new films.

Now we love a bit of cinema but we are more interested in the incredible fashion from the first weekend of the festival.

From Brie Larson looking like a 2019 Barbie doll to the cast of Hustlers showing off their sartorial prowess, it has been a stellar first weekend for TIFF.

Stars were pulling out all the stops to make sure that all eyes were on them as they descended on the Canadian city.

Brie Larson has been killing it on the red carpet recently and this week was no exception when she stepped out for the premiere of Just Mercy.

She walked the red carpet in a statement mini-gown with different shades of pink roses on it from Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.

But it was the long, flowing train that brought total drama to the dress.

She kept her accessories simply, with dainty jewels, pink heels and a clutch, as she let the gown do the talking.

Hustlers, of course, premiered this weekend with J-Lo, Lizzo, Cardi B, Riverdale's Lili Reinhart and Constance Wu starring in the film.

Jennifer Lopez looked like she was walking on sunshine as she arrived in a bright yellow dress.

The statement Maison Yeya dress was primarily made of silk, but also featured taffeta around the shoulders and train.

She channelled her character with a bedazzled Judith Leiber clutch which looked like a wad of cash.
